Tonight was Sonora High graduation.  We are so very proud of Zachary..our Salutatorian!

Keeping the kiddos quiet during the ceremony was a challenge.  Luckily,Wyatt fell asleep right before it started...but unfortunately woke up in a mad fit half way through.  Matthew had to take him home and missed Zachary actually accepting his diploma.

Isaac came over tonight and they had a "mini" sleepover.  Tosha and Matt came to pick him up around midnight.  There was much fun had in the bathtub.  Water EVERYWHERE and every single bath toy inside the tub!  There was so much laughing and happy screams...Moo had to check on them and make sure all was ok.

Once pajamas were on and tummies were full with healthy snacks...it was movie time.  I thought they would fall asleep before the movie was over...but of course I was wrong.  They were still very much awake at midnight.  They both lost some valuable sleep time, but gained some good memories.

May 23rd

This morning the doorbell rang.  It was the mailman delivering 3 packages.  ALL addressed to Wyatt. One was from Granny B and two were from Ms. Ruth from Grand Prairie.   Let me tell you...he was a very happy boy.  He started ripping the biggest box open before we even carried it through the front door.  It was like Christmas morning...but without all the Christmas stuff.  He got some new clothes, including a Spider Man shirt, 2 Avengers shirts, Avengers underwear and Avengers pajamas.  Also included was a "super cool" Spider Man backpack, 3 books, and some rice crispy treats.  And I can't forget the "Hulk" to add to his super hero collection.

Captain America and Iron Man were so excited to see the Hulk

Then we had a "farewell" reception for the Halsted family this afternoon.  I cannot believe their moving day is almost here.  I finally told Wyatt yesterday...and it broke my heart as well as his.  Tears were shed as my little man tried to deal with the fact that his best friend will no longer live right around the corner.    Needless to say...none of us are looking forward to Monday.  Not at all.

And to finish off the day...Baccalaureate service
at the high school to support Zachary and all the other graduates.

And my three favorite pics from the day.....Zachary and Paige.  Makes me laugh!!  Love you guys!!

May 20th

Today was such a busy Sunday!  After church, we had a little picnic up on Eaton Hill.  It was SO nice, until I decided to go on a little hike with the kids in my sandals.  Not a good idea.

Before we left , we looked up Wyatt's first visit in the guest book.  He "signed" his own name back in March. This was only a couple of days after he learned how to write his name.  So sweet!!

After getting hot and completely worn out on the my nice "hike", Wyatt and I headed up to the baseball fields and caught three games.  After carrying around a 400mm lens for three games, I felt like I had been lifting weights for hours.  Those things are HEAVY!!  Thanks Cody for allowing me to borrow your lens!!!  I loved it! (and I learned that I will need to start seriously getting in shape if I am going to ever get one of my own!)

He found a kid-sized cage. ..and decided to jump in.

Love the look on his face!

Having a little fun on the field after the games.
