May 30th, 2014

Graduation day!! Yes. I cried. I know, I know. Ridiculous. He's only 5. But I know that before I turn around, he's going to be walking across the stage getting his real diploma. I can't believe my baby is growing up so fast. I'm just not ready for all of this. I wish time would go by a little slower so I could have more time to soak it all up and take it all in. Just as I feel like he is entering a new stage...it's over with already. They really do grow up in a blink of an eye.

After pre-k graduation, we celebrated with Grammy and Granny B by going to Angelo. We ate and played at Mr. Gatti's, ate some ice cream at Marble Slab and finished off the day bowling.

Today was award day at the elementary school. Wyatt was awarded the Bronco Reading Award for all the books we read at home this year!

Today was Field Day in Sonora. Wyatt had a blast! He won first place in the race (boys in his class) and his class won first place in the Tug-of-War. Cassidy...well...she never seemed all that excited about it.

When he came home, he was so excited about planting some orange seeds that he had got from school. When I asked him who gave him the seeds, he replied, "Nobody. I got them out of my orange at lunch time." So maybe, just MAYBE, we will have an orange tree in our backyard by next year.

This is the kind of thing that makes my heart sing on a daily basis. The little moments throughout the day like this one. Cassidy was laughing while Wyatt was climbing all over Matthew and singing "Jesus loves me." It doesn't matter how much money we do or don't have. I am rich!!

Today was Mother's Day... a perfect day for Cassidy's baby dedication at church.

We took a "cousins" picture before church. Unfortunately, Wyatt and I couldn't go to church with everyone because Wyatt started running a fever last night. So, we grabbed some donuts from our friend Hout at the donut shop and spent the morning cuddled up in bed.
