July 24th

I could not help but be in awe of our awesome Creator today.  It doesn't happen as often as it should, but every once in a while I take the time to slow down and just be still. I had one of those moments today.  It is absolutely AMAZING how God can create something SO BEAUTIFUL out of teeny tiny cells.  How there can become "something" where there was once "nothing".  How God allowed me....ME...to carry this sweet boy in my belly for nine months...allowed me to feel his little body growing and moving inside of me.  How he has continued to allow me to watch him grow for the past three and a half years...his body, his mind, and his big personality.  I have no idea why God allowed me this privledge...but I am so very thankful for every day He allows me to continue on this blessed journey.

Psalm 139:13
"For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb.  I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well."

July 22nd

Having some fun with water guns on a hot summer day.

July 21st

Grampy came into town today!!  First on the list of things to do with Grampy: go to Ozona to watch daddy in a softball tournament and cool off at the water park!  Why no pictures of that adventure you say??...because that meant a chance for mommy to have the house to myself for a while!  So...I'm not gonna lie. While they were chillin in the sun...I was at home, in bed, watching me some Law and Order...without any interuptions!

Upon returning from Ozona...we went to Dollar General and got Wyatt a water rocket...that ended up being a dud.  But it was fun watching them try!

Then the boys had some fun playing a little baseball in the backyard.  It was such a blessing to see Grampy, who was diagnosed with cancer a little under a year ago, feeling better and playing catch with Wyatt.  So wonderful to see an answered prayer before our eyes!

Look at that wind-up and the follow through.  He is already a pro!!  Sonora T-ball is not gonna know what to do with this spark next Spring!!...  (says the un-biased mother)

Fun times with good friends at the Spiller ranch.

Out with the old...in with the new.

Wyatt's most beloved Spiderman rainboots have had a nice life...but it is time for them to retire.  They are literally falling apart...holes, rips, and the soles have fallen out. SO...I ordered him some NEW superhero rainboots from the internet.  The mailman came and left this box at our front door this morning.  He immediately thought it was from Ms. Ruth, but it wasn't.  Then he was sure it was from Granny B, but it wasn't.  I tried to explain to him that they were from me...but he had no idea why I would mail him something, so he decided it must be from the mailman.  We saw the mailman a little later at the grocery store, so Wyatt went up to him and told the mailman "thank you for the Batman boots."

Sonora was actually blessed with a nice rain shower this evening.  So after the rain, Evan came over to ride bikes with Wyatt.  Isaac on the other hand was being entertained by the rain water flowing along the curb.

July 13th

Today was my turn to teach Mother's Day Out.  So...we took a little trip to the First Baptist playground.  A good hour worth of fun!  Then back to the Methodist Church we went for some water color painting.

This evening was Cody and Amanda's wedding.  It was beautiful!

Wyatt doing a little break dancing during the reception

Wyatt decided to go up on the stage while the band was playing.  He asked the guy with the microphone if he could sing a song.  The man was nice enough to give it my three year old son.  Wyatt then serenaded the entire crowd with the Spiderman theme song.  He has no fear!!
