October 13th

This morning we got to go to Presley's 3rd birthday party...at the Caverns of Sonora!!  So much fun!  Yes...Wyatt was the only one dressed like an archaeologist/forest ranger/Diego...but I couldn't resist!! And he loved it.  He kept telling me he was ready to go "exploring."  Love that kid!!

After the party...we had to go up to the church to take a family portrait for the church directory...and since I actually had makeup on ( a very rare occasion)...I decided to take Wyatt out and try out my new toys that I got for my birthday!  My new remote shutter (so I can actually be in some pictures!) and my new tripod. (Thanks uncle Jimmy!)

We spent the rest of the afternoon outside playing with the neighborhood kids while the storm clouds rolled in...some absolutely beautiful storm clouds!

 Watercolors in the kitchen.

Making a little music in the yard.  Matt took this picture... I can't take credit for this one.

October 7th

We got to visit with Ms. Ruth over lunch today.  Oh how we miss Ms. Ruth AND taco bell!

A little tinker toy action.  Thanks for the new toys Aunt Lisa!

And this is just CLASSIC!

 My prince.

October 5th

Wyatt and I got to meet his new cousin today!  Sweet baby Logan!

October 3rd

We got to go out to eat with Aunt Jen tonight!  Luckily...they put us in the corner out on the patio. So no worries...he had plenty of room to be a power ranger.

October 2nd

Helping Granddad water the plants this afternoon.

This is Wyatt's face most of the time when I tell him to look at the camera...you know..the "get that thing out of my face" look.  But when I bribe him I sometimes get a real smile...but sometimes I get this...a ridiculous, cheesy, huge, fake smile.  :)

Out of water...my super dramatic kid.  (But oh so cute!)

September 30th

We had a family "get together" at Granny and Pawpaw's house for my birthday today.  Got this picture of Granny and Wyatt kissing...and I LOVE IT!!  It will be framed!

September 28th

Wyatt and I made the long trip back to Arlington last night...little did he know we were going to meet Isaac, Gracie, and Tosha!!  I was able to keep the secret for a whole month!!  We met up with them at my mom's house and they spent the night so we could get up this morning and make a trip to the Fort Worth Zoo.  To say Wyatt was excited would be a severe understatement!  SO GLAD we got to spend some time with them...wish it could have lasted longer!!
It turned out to be a great day to go to the zoo.  Not crowded, not too hot, and the rain even held off until the very end!  (Hence the reason Wyatt is shirtless...he got a little drenched!)
