May 10th

This morning I took Wyatt to our AWESOME hairstylist to get his hair cut.  When we got out of the car at her shop on Main Street, we heard sirens.  This is NOT normal in Sonora except for the occasional ones hurrying down I-10.  These were loud...and continuous.  It then hit me that there MUST be a team going to state.  Turns out the girls track team was on their way out of town...so they (as ALL teams going to state in Sonora) had a royal escort out of town.  So we had a seat on the bench and watched the fun going down Main Street.  

Now...time to get down to business.

When we came out...there was a storm a brewin'...something we don't get to see very often down here!!  Yay for storm clouds, wind, and thunder!  

By the time we got home, we had RAIN!  Real rain.  Wet, cold rain.  It was perfect!  So Wyatt got to finally  "use" his umbrella he got from the store yesterday.  Fun times in the front yard.
