Scott Venable speaking to the youth during the lock-in.
A daily reflection of the simple blessings in my life....through pictures. I am not much of a writer....but I can snap a photo!

Went to the baseball fields tonight to watch Lane play some little league baseball. Took some pictures and talked with friends from the community. Afterwards Matt and I had dinner at the steak house...without having to chase Wyatt around. Miss my little guy...but SO nice to be able to eat an entire meal and talk with Matthew without interruption! Thanks again Mom and Dad!

Before Matt and I left Granny B and Granddad's house, there was a little backyard baseball to be played between Wy and Daddy.
My awesome dog that still barks, jumps, and turns flips because of the thing hanging in the tree. He is eight years old now...and he has been doing it since he was a puppy... EVERY SINGLE TIME he is let out in the backyard.

Another visit to Grampy's house this morning.

Daddy and Wyatt washed Grampy's dogs for him today. Doesn't the dog look so happy?! I bet it's not everyday she gets bathed by a three year old.
Having some fun with Grandmommy's walker
Bubbles in Grampy's backyard
And watching a little "Octonauts" and eating Granny's lemon cake is a great way to end the evening.

Matt and his dad. We were just waiting for the discharge papers so he could go back home.
We were able to see Grandmommy too once we got back to Grampy's house.
Random ducks at Granny B and Granddad's house today.
We made a special visit to Granny and Pawpaw's house for some of Granny's homemade lemon cake tonight. She makes it every time he visits. Lucky boy!

Today Matthew, MooMoo and I made the long trip back to the Metroplex to visit Matt's dad. We took our time and enjoyed the time together...which was easy since our three year old was already with Granny B and Granddad in Arlington. The first stop we made was about thirty miles out when we saw an abandoned couch on the side of the road. It was the "Did you see that?!! " moment. We turned around, pulled over, got out, and snapped some photos. It was after the fact that I thought...maybe, just maybe, it was thrown out in the middle of nowhere because it had been infested with some horrible bugs...or maybe had been used in a murder. Matt seems to think it was placed there by a nice family who wanted to take some cool pics. Let's hope he's right.
Next stop... the geographic center of Texas.
A little further down the road... a large boulder made a nice tripod for the camera.
